It is no secret that e-commerce is killing brick and mortar stores. In the higher end of retail, sites like Amazon can offer a greater selection at significantly lower cost, and high end boutiques are feeling the pinch. After years of slumping sales, even large chains like Tower Records and Borders Books have had to close their doors. However, some savvy retailers are learning tricks to stay alive, even in this economy of e-tailing.
