Over the next ten to twenty years, retailers will have to change and evolve with new trends or become obsolete. Consumers live in a world were they can get products 24/7 and have access to many services. Experts say that stores need to battle against what they call “machine to machine transactions.” Stores will need to use mobile devices to target customers and alert them to items that a particular consumer is likely to want to purchase.
